Experience. Dedication. Trust. Passion for the art and craft in their role. We’ve hired for these qualities. We choose our partners using the same criteria. The difference creates efficiencies, morale, and ultimately, better work.
What's in a great team?
Site Superintendent is a serious role. Addressing project details and considering the fluid reality of a building site takes experience. And ensuring the health and safety of your team is a responsibility that only a few are cut out for. Thomas is one of them.
Thomas solves problems in motion. He has exceptional technical skills, and the patience and interest to communicate project process and building details that keep clients informed. He’s in his element on Corporate Interiors projects, but whatever the build, he’s your man on the inside.
Rest easy. Your project site is in the care of a level-headed, even-keeled, health-and-safety-focussed Site Super who takes pride in his work. The site, where the rubber hits the road, demands a ready-for-anything/prepared-to-innovate sensibility.
Gary has the professional comfort and confidence that characterize all great Site Supers. He keeps everyone on site efficient, at ease, and feeding off his work ethic. When you meet him, you’ll get it.
General Superintendent is a serious role. Addressing project details and considering the fluid reality of a building project takes experience. And ensuring the health and safety of your team is a responsibility that only a few are cut out for. Ernie is – he’s like Clint Eastwood and Macgyver rolled into one.
Ernie’s the serious, detail-oriented, experienced health and safety guru who kicked off our COR certification training (the highest level of IHSA safety certification). You know the unknown unknowns? Ernie does. Troubleshooting is his resting state, and his ability to keep projects moving smoothly puts even the most fastidious project managers at ease.
When you’re building a space that clients will love for years, the devil is in the details and that’s where Ana comes in. Ana is a master of the details. She’s our super sleuth, tracking down the perfect components for every job. Estimating isn’t just about getting the best price, it’s about the schedule, the quality, and the price. Everything has to work together to make the project come together.
Ramon has an enormous passion for learning. He can’t resist the opportunity to dig into something new and become an expert. That’s how this professional engineer ended up with a civil engineering degree, a Master’s in Health and Safety, a Project Management Professional designation, and an MBA.
With that kind of a background, it’s hardly a surprise that Ramon is a master of the details and has a paper trail for everything. What does come as a surprise is Ramon’s sense of humour; he’s also an aficionado of the dad joke.
Some people are comfortable being confronted by chaos. While it sounds masochistic to start each day expecting to organize the random, good project managers keep their composure while deftly wrangling it into submission. Adam is a good project manager.
Along with the Project Manager role’s hallmarks, strong teamwork skills, and fastidious attention to detail, he brings architectural technologist experience. Adam has a background working and modifying drawings. And we wouldn’t want to underestimate the value of his quiet sense of humour in keeping projects on pace.

Paria’s a catch. She’s got a natural gift for organization and all the technical skills you could ask for. In addition to her extensive experience in commercial remodels across North America, Paria is a trained Architectural Engineer. She has a Master’s degree in Construction Management from Concordia University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Building & Environment from Newcastle University. With an education like that, you might be inclined to think Paria is only interested in the facts and figures of construction. But that just isn’t the case. Paria’s got a passion for buildings and the craft of construction, not just the numbers. Maybe it’s because she’s an avid photographer that she likes to remind us that architecture is art.

How does Shanth do it? He takes it personally. No project is simply a job, it’s his project and his reputation on the line. That means he’s all in on every project, whether it’s a small office fit-out or a 13-million-dollar warehouse space. Shanth prides himself on thinking 10 steps ahead on every project, so nothing is forgotten or left to the last minute.
From the outside, pre-construction management and estimating is a numbers game, locked in a cascading series of Excel spreadsheets and deep analysis. But from the inside, estimating brings a project to life, from drawings to a detailed action plan with an exceedingly human aspect. Years of experience has taught Sam that the only way to achieve this is through deep collaboration with trade partners and clients.
Sam has built his reputation on open and honest communication between estimating and subtrades, which gives him access to the most accurate pricing from reliable tradespeople. It is a style of communication that fosters trust between all parties – Client, Constructor, and Subtrades – and allows Sam to tailor each project budget to the client’s needs.
Sam’s stats at a glance:
- Gold Seal Certificate – General Contracting, Estimator.
- Graduate of Mohawk College with a Diploma in Civil Engineer Technician.
- Over a decade of estimating leadership in the ICI sector.
Isabel is the heart of our accounting department. And we mean that in all senses of the word. Being responsible for our Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll implies that she’s central to every transaction that happens at Ingenuity. That’s a lot of responsibility, but Isabel is more than up to the task; she’s got a BBS in accounting, an MBA, and 15 years of construction accounting experience!
But what makes Isabel truly special is that she combines her impressive technical skills with people skills. It’s as easy for her to process an invoice as it is for her to welcome a new employee.
If you were to describe Peter’s approach to work in one word, it would be Determination.
When Peter started with us in 2018, he was a hardworking and quick learning Assistant Site Super. Since then, he has relentlessly put in the hours to gain the experience and skills needed to become an outstanding Site Superintendent. Despite being a super modern guy, Peter’s path to becoming a full Site Super was old school. He mastered the craft by working alongside Supers with decades of experience in the field. Peter did every task on the site until he had perfected each one; that’s when we knew he was ready to be a Site Super.
Steven’s a relationship guy. After studying Construction Engineering at George Brown, Steven went into the family business and learned first-hand what it was like to work at a construction site. Steven came away from that experience with the insight that technical skills and knowledge of the field were table stakes in construction. What makes a project succeed is the teamwork and relationships that tie all the players together. Since then, he’s sought out opportunities to work in a team environment and with excellent leaders and trade partners – an environment where he can build solid professional relationships and do great work. Steven’s happiest and does his best work when he’s part of a team that shares the same goal.
